Merry Christmas! Snow has been falling steadily since sometime last night – it’s a white Christmas in Colorado. I’ve got green chile stew simmering on the stove and a fire burning in the fireplace. Much to be thankful for!
Warm wishes to all, goodwill towards men, and peace on earth.
From Fairbanks’ house to yours . . .
Cheers!
Melissa

What a handsome fellow or a beautiful gal. I love his/her facial markings.
Happy Holidays!
Sheltie Girl @ Gluten A Go Go
Aaahh, yes, Fairbanks is a handsome fellow and he thanks you for the compliment. Mike (at michaelrenaud.com) used him as his inspiration for creating that cute little “glutenfreeforgood” yak logo on my blog. (As in celi-yak.)
We had a very white Christmas here in Colorado and I couldn’t resist taking this holiday photo yesterday. Of course, I had to bribe him with treats so he’d stay still. Say cheese! Which causes immediate drooling.
Happy Holidays to you too!
I appreciate the comments that you posted on Celiac Chicks. I clicked on your link and, to my surprise, found your gorgeous husky. I have one as well. Those fuzzy faces are big bundles of love! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to you too, Toni! Yes, that was an interesting series of comments at Celiac Chicks. It’s important to understand that celiac impacts different people in different ways. There’s a broad spectrum of symptoms, that’s for sure.
Very cool that you also have a husky (tell me more). My guy, Fairbanks, is a Malamute. Northern breeds tend to be pretty independent and a touch aloof, but they’re such special dogs. I love them!
Here’s to good health in 2008!
